My story
Hi, I'm Nasir Engineer, the Founder & Creative Director of Flutr (and the guy in the picture above). This is me writing in first person.
I was struck with the idea of Flutr in 2022 while working at my full-time job as an employee engagement specialist. Having an extensive background in professional improv, I knew my way to help people connect, learn some skills and have fun along the way.
For most of my life, I was ignorant, scared, had insecurities, and that often left me unseen and unheard in my social situations. I had no say among my friends, barely got the attention of the opposite sex and I couldn't command any leverage in the workplace. That sums up a big chunk of my 20's.
However, I have come a long way since then. My decade long training, performance and facilitation in improv have helped me overcome my social fears.
I use the tools and principles of improv to design all of Flutr's events and workshops which make learning social skills interactive and fun with hands-on participation.
At the end of the day, our aim at Flutr is to help you emerge from behidn your barriers, embrace the new confident version of yourself, navigate every social situation and stand out among everyone else.
